Brody is an Associate at Peters Law Firm P.C. He focuses his practice primarily on Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Real Estate, Family Law, and Business Law. Brody grew up in an agricultural family and was raised in Clarinda, Iowa. He now resides in Council Bluffs with his wife, Jordyn, and their two sons, Kendol and Lawson. His background and passion for rural Iowa and his drive in the education field intertwined perfectly at Drake University Law School, where he practiced law as a Student-Attorney in Polk County, Iowa, and became the Editor in Chief of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. His services include, though are not limited to estate planning and probate.
By having the opportunity to practice law at Drake, Brody was quick to recognize his interest in working directly with clients. This interest has now carried over to his practice where he puts an emphasis on sitting down with clients, listening to their concerns, and strategically and collaboratively working to find a solution.
Whether it is planning an estate, opening an estate, filing a petition, or just lending someone advice, I am in a position to help someone. You cannot help someone without listening to them. My first step in practice is always to make my clients feel comfortable trusting me in their legal situation. We can then work collaboratively on finding a solution that fits their specific needs.
Brody joined Peters Law Firm, P.C. in August 2017, immediately following his graduation from law school. He is admitted to practice in Iowa. He really enjoys the small-town atmosphere of Council Bluffs and is eager to become more involved in the community.
