Sandra joined Peters Law Firm, P.C. as an associate in 2019. Sandra enjoys working with individuals, families, and small business owners in the estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate, business planning, and agricultural practice areas to develop legal and common-sense solutions to advance the individual client’s interests and objectives.
In 2010, Sandra graduated summa cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law. During law school, Sandra was a member of the Creighton Law Review and the Moot Court Board and received the Outstanding Service to the Community Award. Sandra worked as an associate attorney for a mid-size law firm in Omaha upon graduation in the firm’s real estate and estate planning practice groups. Prior to returning to private practice at Peters Law Firm, P.C., Sandra worked in the financial services industry, most recently as a trust officer at a local community bank.
Sandra grew up on her family’s farm in northwest Iowa and attended Iowa State University where she met her husband Nathan. They have two sons and live on the family farm near Silver City, Iowa. She enjoys assisting her husband with the family farm operation and volunteering with her sons’ school and 4-H activities.
Sandra has actively participated in community, professional and church activities in the local area. She is a member of Class 28 of the Leadership Council Bluffs program, a former Mills County Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner and a present member of the Mills County Planning and Zoning Commission.
