Lyle W. Ditmars

Lyle Ditmars is a principal of Peters Law Firm. He represents numerous insurance company clients in the field of trial law. Lyle is a 1977 graduate of Creighton University School of Law and is an adjuct professor of law at Creighton, teaching in the area of Iowa Civil Procedure. He is a member of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on the Workers' Compensation and Judiciary committees of the Iowa Bar Association for several years. Locally, Lyle has served on the boards of the Council Bluffs YMCA; Omaha-Council Bluffs Campfire Boys and Girls; and the Dr. Lee R. Martin Children's Center. He has coached youth sports for over 15 years. He is a Deacon and choir member at Grace Presbyterian Church.
