James A. Thomas

A principal of Peters Law Firm, Jim Thomas is counsel for Mills County State Bank and numerous Mills, Pottawattamie, and Fremont levy and drainage districts. A lifelong resident of Glenwood and a 1967 graduate of the University of Iowa Law School, Jim has been Mills County attorney and president of the Southwest Iowa Bar Association. He has long been appointed by the Supreme Court of Iowa as chairman of the Iowa Lawyers Trust Association and by Governor Branstad as a commissioner for the Department of Mental Health.
